About Us
When elected, John Hafley will serve the citizens of Montgomery County by presiding over a court that is efficient and predictable with rulings that are consistent with the Constitution.
Conservative:
- John C. Hafley is conservative lifelong member of the Methodist Church
- He is the son of a Methodist minister
- Pro-Life
- Pro-guns
- does not take for granted the inalienable rights that have been bestowed on the citizens of Texas
- The US Constitution was established for justice and the rule of law
Family man:
- John has been married to his wife Dina, a Conroe High School Graduate, for 25 years
- He is the proud father of two amazing children.
- The oldest, J.C., graduated from The Woodlands High School
- His daughter Deanna is a recent graduate of Magnolia West High School
- He coached at Oak Ridge Woodlands Area Little League and South County Football League
- Both children attend rival Southeastern Conference Schools: Ole Miss and Texas A&M University.
Former Police Officer and Prosecutor:
- 8 years of uniformed service as a law enforcement officer
- Recipient of the Medal of Valor and the Commendation Medal for actions he took in savings the lives of citizens of this state.
- As a prosecutor he fought daily to seek justice for all in criminal cases
- Worked his way up to chief of a felony court
Combat Veteran:
- John is an Iraqi war combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient
- He has been deployed to Iraq and Saudi Arabia and served a total of 30 years of service to this great county.
- He currently serves as a Brigadier General in the Army Reserve
